Harinder “Harry” Singh

Born in Punjab, India, Harinder “Harry” Singh moved to New Haven at the age of one, where he grew up and attended school all the way up to college. He earned an associate’s degree in Electrical Science from the New England Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University.

Harry learned the ins and outs of the restaurant business from his father, who has over 35 years experience and is the owner / head chef of Sitar New Haven, a traditional Indian Restaurant. Harry was exposed to every aspect of owning and running a restaurant from a very early age and always knew that he would open his own restaurant one day.

It is no surprise that Harry chose New Haven for his first business venture because New Haven is his home. Harry’s restaurant, House of Naan, is located in the heart of New Haven and redefines the Indian food experience. House of Naan delivers a Sip n’ Savor experience with a fusion of crafted cocktails, savory Indian dishes and an enjoyable atmosphere. He wants every customer who comes through the door to enjoy the experience and be excited to come back. When Harry is not at the restaurant, he enjoys playing football and golf with his family and friends.

Karandeep “Kay” Singh

 Owner MIXOLOGIST

 Born in Punjab, India. Karandeep “Kay” moved to the United States at a young age and grew up in Branford. He attended Central Connecticut University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He worked in the engineering field for two years before deciding that he wanted to pursue opening up his own business.

Kay is dedicated to the art of mixology and trying new cocktails and wine. He has created his House flavors and infusions that allow unexpected combinations of flavours by layering ingredients in our cocktails. He has dreamed of being able to share his passion with others. Kay had the opportunity to partner up with Harry Singh. They share mutual goals and compatible personalities. He is finally seeing his dream of owning his own business become a reality. His constant searching and crafting of new cocktails brings a modern twist to a traditional Indian restaurant. He wants each customer to walk away having enjoyed every minute of their experience at House of Naan. In Kay’s free time, he enjoys playing sports and spending time with family and friends.
